Meet Lani Lobangco's son Bruno Gabriel, third wheel to Joyce-Kristoffer tandem

Joyce Ching and Kristoffer Martin's tandem has a new third wheel for their upcoming GMA-7 show Hahamakin Ang Lahat.

His name is Bruno Gabriel, the son of former sexy actress Lani Lobangco.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and select media reporters were able to meet him for the first time during the October 12 set visit for Hahamakin Ang Lahat at Tivoli Subdivision in Quezon City.

The new teleserye serves as the first TV project of the newbie actor who plays the ex-boyfriend of Joyce Ching's character Rachel.

The 20-year-old Bruno said about his role, "Ako si Santi, isa siyang mayamang young adult.

"Filipino pero mayaman na pinalaki ng yaya na [kasi yung] magulang niya, busy, so wala siyang oras para sa kanya.

"Si Joyce Ching, mabubuntis niya. Tapos tatakas siya, pupunta siyang U.S. kasi hindi siya ready.

"Pero mahal niya yung babae, pero sobrang yabang niya, sobrang disrespectful.

"Noong pumunta siya ng U.S. para tumakas, pero babalik din siya para i-claim yung anak. Kontrabidang kontrabida."

Bruno is happy because aside from portraying a major role, he is also familiar with people who have the same traits as his character: those who grew up being spoiled because of their wealth.

He explained, "Yung dad's side ko, medyo privileged na din sila noong kabataan nila so aware siya doon sa personality problems.

"Like as I grew up, aware ako sa ganun although usually sini-stereotype ako ng ganoon which hindi ko na-appreciate pero naintindihan ko.

"Thankful nga ako, ganoon yung role na binigay sa akin, especially bago akong artista."

BACKGROUND AND FUTURE PLANS. Before entering showbiz, Bruno started as a sports player when he was still living in the United States.

However, this student from Ateneo De Manila University decided to hone his craft in filmmaking.

He diclosed, "After ng sport life ko, siyempre medyo nagiging serious na yung buhay so gusto ko magpursue ng dreams, gusto ko pumasok sa film.

"Mahilig kasi ako sa film, e. Actually, hobby ko yung film.

"Pangarap ko, pumasok sa industry ng film as an actor or as a director. Especially sa Ateneo, medyo artsy sila for some reason kahit business school kinuha ko.

"Lagi silang may project na video, contest, nanalo ako ng cinematography award once. Marami akong experience sa film prod pero behind. Lately lang nagworkshop ako sa theater."

Bruno then started doing commercials and attending workshops at PETA.-- For the full story, visit PEP.ph
