Yasmien Kurdi recalls how she hurdled postpartum depression
Yasmien Kurdi's showbiz comeback in 2013 was partly prompted by her postpartum depression.
She had just given birth to Ayessa, her unica hija with husband Rey Soldevilla, when she felt unexplainable sadness.
The Kapuso star told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during her contract renewal with GMA-7, last January 25, “Parang nalulungkot ako."
At that time, her attention was focused on her home.
"Parang, 'This is it, pansit,' parang ganun ang feeling."
A party reconnected her with GMA bosses.
But she had no regrets about her two-year hiatus even if back then, she was already the princess of afternoon drama.
She and Rey have been together for 11 years.
What's their secret to a happy and solid relationship?
She quickly replied, “Siguro dapat meron kang mahabang understanding sa isa't-isa.
-- For the full story, visit PEP.ph
