Bon Jovi not dead, victim of Internet hoax

Right after he was rumored to have died, rocker Jon Bon Jovi immediately came out and proved that he was in fact, alive and well.

 

In the official Twitter account of the band Bon Jovi (@BonJovi), the band told fans to "rest assured that Jon is fine."  

It likewise attached a picture of 49-year-old Jon, or also known as John Francis Bongiovi Jr., holding a piece of paper saying "heaven looks a lot like New Jersey" with the date December 19, 2011.

The band's tweet was posted around three hours ago as of posting time. Several international news outfits have likewise confirmed that the singer was alive. Rumors about Jon's alleged death circulated around Twitter more than an hour before.

 

Fans, meanwhile, were happy to know that their favorite rocker was still alive, with some of them flooding the band's Facebook page with sighs of relief. — RSJ, GMA News
