X-Factor judge Demi Lovato's father dies

Actress-singer Demi Lovato's biological father, Patrick Lovato, has passed away. According to a Daily Mail report, the cause of death was still unknown, but Patrick, who was estranged from his daughters, Demi and older sister Dallas, for over a decade, had battled cancer in recent years. The death was first confirmed by Dallas Lovato who tweeted, 'Rest in peace daddy I love you..' last June 23, 2013 (US time). Furthermore, Demi also tweeted her thanks for all the support given her by fans, friends, and family. Meanwhile, Demi's co-judges on talent show "X Factor USA", Simon Cowell and Pau Rubio, expressed their sympathies for her recent loss.
