First Look: Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel in new 'Batman vs Superman' film

The upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" won't open until May 2016, but superhero fans could get a sneak peek at the much-anticipated blockbuster after Warner Bros. released the first picture of Henry Cavill from the movie as the Man of Steel.

 

Cavill will reprise his role as the last son of Krypton as he goes up against Batman, who will be played by Ben Affleck.

 

Last May, director Zack Snyder tweeted a photo of Affleck as the Dark Knight, a photo that quickly became viral.


 

The movie will also feature "The Social Network" actor Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. The title of the film alludes to the Justice League, the DC Comics superhero group that features Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. - JST, GMA News
