Magazine cover featuring Kim Kardashian's bare backside 'breaks the Internet'

For its latest issue, PAPER Magazine declared that it had one assignment: "Break the Internet."

 

It did just that on Tuesday as social media went abuzz over a pair of cover photos featuring reality star Kim Kardashian.

 

"There is no other person that we can think of who is up to the task than one Kim Kardashian West. A pop culture fascination able to generate headlines just by leaving her house, Kim is what makes the web tick," said the magazine.

 

The first cover features Kim using her famously large backside to balance a champagne glass. "We tapped legendary French photographer Jean-Paul Goude to recreate his iconic 'Champagne Incident' shot," said the magazine.


 

 

The second cover, meanwhile, shows Kanye West's better half baring her buttocks. 

 

Kim, meanwhile, seemed to take the cover shots in good fun.
