LOOK: Iggy Azalea shows off $500,000 engagement ring from Nick Young

Australian rapper and singer Iggy Azalea got engaged to Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young last Monday, June 1, in front of their family and friends in what was only supposed to be a celebration of Young's 30th birthday.

 

Aside from the intimate proposal that guests can't stop gushing about, the netizens also seem to can't stop themselves from staring at the new and quite fancy sparkler donned by the famous rapper.

 

The basketball star proposed with a 10.43-carat engagement ring from Jason of Beverly Hills. The ring which features an 8.15-carat fancy intense yellow cushion cut center stone with 2.28 carats of white diamonds set onto 18-karat white gold, is valued at $500,000, according to a report by E! Online.

 

Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, told media that Young was personally involved in designing the ring, and he made sure that it is both a dream ring and a jewelry that would match Iggy's style.

 

The 24-year-old rapper obviously loved the engagement ring, as she shared photos via her Instagram account.

 

"Happiest Day #Isaidyes," Iggy said.

 

Nick and Iggy started dating in 2013 after having originally met over the social networking site Twitter.
