Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s second child will be a boy

Kim Kardashian's second baby with actor and famous rapper Kanye West will be a boy, the American television and social media personality announced Monday.

The couple are already parents to 2-year-old daughter North West.

In an Instagram post made public a day after Father's Day, Kim  greeted Kanye with a stolen photo of him reading to North.

“Precious moments like this when we were traveling on tour with you are what I live for. You're such a good daddy to North & you will be the best daddy to our new son too!” she said.

The television and internet sensation excitedly revealed her second pregnancy earlier this month in an episode of the reality TV show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

"I just got the blood test back, and I am pregnant!" the 34-year-old socialite tells her sister Khloe Kardashian in a sneak peek video of the mid-season finale of the famous reality show.

Meanwhile, fans of the celebrity couple hoped that they would keep up with the geographical theme for their children's name as "South West" started trending after Kim's announcement.

Kim, on the other hand, think this would be "stupid" and would rather not go "another direction" for their next child.

"I mean, everyone keeps on saying South, and I think it's so stupid. Stupidest thing ever and just ridiculous. I don't like South West, though, because that's like, you know, North will always, you know, be better. She has a better direction,” she said in an interview on NPR.

Kim and Kanye tied the knot on May 24, 2014, a little over a year after their first baby was born.

Since then, Kim has gushed about motherhood and family life. "I love being a mom. It's the most rewarding feeling! I really love every phase! Just the way my daughter laughs with me, all of the small things in life you appreciate!" she said in an earlier interview. — Bianca Rose Dabu/BM, GMA News
