Miley Cyrus posts nude selfie prior to hosting the VMAs

After much hype on Miley Cyrus hosting the annual MTV Video Music Awards, the American pop singer made sure she would kick off the awards show in the most unforgettably "Miley" way.

 

Prior to the much-awaited event on Sunday (Monday, PHL time), the 22-year-old actress and singer posted a sneak peek of her preparations for her hosting stint, which included waking up early and getting ready before everyone else.

 

"When yiew da host so you gotta get to the vmas early AF!!!!!" she captioned a nude mirror selfie censored with pink stars.

 

Miley have openly expressed excitement over the VMAs after she revealed that she persuaded the producers to include her in more segments of the show so she could do with more outfit changes.

In line with granting of her request, the pop sensation promised 'the most colorful' awards show.

 

"I made mtv add me into the show more so I could have more looks lol! So many coloooorsssss and jewllllzzzz =] want this to be the most colorful vmas of allherstory ;)," she said on the MTV Tumblr page.

 

Miley seem to have delivered, as she walks down the red carpet in a silver Versace outfit, and surprised both the audience and the viewers with a whole lot more daring ensembles throughout the show.
