Adele's 'Hello' breaks billion views YouTube record

Adele's hit song "Hello" smashed yet another record after it reached one billion views on the video sharing site YouTube after only 88 days after it was uploaded, based on the Guiness World Records website.

"This represents the Fastest time for a video to reach one billion views on YouTube since PSY’s South Korean dance track “Gangnam Style” became the First video to receive one billion views 159 days after the four-minute clip was first uploaded (almost twice as long as Adele’s video took to hit the mark)," according to the website.

Adele, a Grammy awrd-winning singer, released the single after a four-year break has been enjoying a renewed success in both the UK and the US with brisk sales of her new record and tickets to her US concert as well as BRIT music award nominations. — BAP, GMA News
