Filipina blows off roof at X Factor UK auditions, impresses all four judges

A Filipina blew the roof off at X Factor UK auditions, impressing all four judges with her powerful rendition of Whitney Houston's "All The Man I Need" during the show's sixth episode on Monday.

Simon Cowell blurted "Oh my God!" after 33-year-old Ivy Grace Paredes from Malaybalay, Bukidnon, performed Houston's song.

"What just happened there?!," added Cowell.

She just sang our faces off, pretty much, that's what happened," replied another X Factor UK judge Nicole Scherziner.

Louis Walsh said Paredes' performance was "sensational" and said that the Filipina was a "little diva."

Sharon Osbourne said Paredes did herself proud.

Paredes said she joined X Factor UK for her two-year-old daughter, who she left in the Philippines under the care of her parents.

"For me, I believe this is the biggest competition and I want to be a part of it.  (The) X Factor (UK) can give me the stepping stones I need to do good in the future because this is all for my daughter," she said. —ALG, GMA News
