Filipino actress bags two nominations at Hong Kong Film Awards

An early congratulations Filipino actress Crisel Consunji for bagging two nominations at this year’s Hong Kong Film Awards.

Crisel is nominated in two major categories – Best Actress and Best New Performer – for her work in the movie “Still Human.”

In "Still Human," Crisel plays a Filipino domestic worker who gave up her dreams to take care of a paralyzed Hong Kongese.

"Still Human" is also nominated for Best Film, Best Actor, Best Screenplay, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actor.

Crisel is a singer and actress who flew to Hong Kong in 2008 and worked a lead vocalist for Disney Hong Kong. Apart from continuing her craft as an actress, Crisel has also co-founded Baumhaus Creative Arts Family Centre. — LA, GMA News
