‘Boys Over Flowers’ oppa Kim Bum completes military service

One of our OG oppas has just been discharged from the military!

We’re talking about Kim Bum, a.k.a. the actor who played the charming F4 member So Yi-jung in the hit Korean drama “Boys Over Flowers.”

According to Korean website Soompi, Kim’s agency King Kong by Starship officially announced he has completed his military service as a public service worker.

The report noted that the actor, who enlisted in the military last April 2018, fulfilled his mandatory military service as a public service worker after completing his basic training.

His management had explained earlier that Kim has been receiving treatment  “due to a hereditary illness.

“In order to recover, he put much attention into taking care of his health through medication and exercising, but he was assigned to be a public service worker,” Soompi quoted his management as saying.

Kim Bum starred alongside Go Hye Sun, Lee Min-ho, Kim Hyun Joong and Kim Joo in “Boys Over Flowers.” --Margaret Claire Layug/MGP, GMA News
