Blackpink to drop new single in June; Full-length album coming September

It's official! Blackpink is set to release a full-length album in September.

The K-pop's agency YG entertainment just announced that the girls have “completed recording over 10 new tracks and finished working on their first official album" and are set to release the title song as early as June.

But that's not all: YG says another two tracks are set to drop “in special format” sometime from July to August!

Blackpink, composed of members Jennie, Rose, Lisa, and Jisoo, are among the few K-pop artists who have repeatedly topped international charts.

Fans from all around the world, collectively known as “Blinks,” are also waiting for their collab with Lady Gaga for the song “Sour Candy."

It's been over a year since they released their last EP “Kill This Love” back in April 2019 so we are more than happy for all these releases! It's true what what they say: When it rains, it pours! — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
