BTS shares message of hope to class of 2020: 'We're alone but also together'

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to change life as we know it, BTS reminds the youth that there is always hope.

In a video posted by UNICEF on Twitter, the popular K-pop group gave messages of comfort and encouragement for the "Dear Class of 2020" virtual graduation ceremony.

"In our music and in our hearts and in the time that we break out of ourselves, we're alone but also together," JM said.

Jin urged that amid the "pressure of starting anew, don't rush. Take a deep breath."

Jimin reminds people that people around the world are going through a hard time too.

"We are all in different parts of the world, in different environments and circumstances. But in this moment, I hope we can all give each other a warm pat on the back and say: It's okay," he said.

And for those who no longer know where they should go from here, V has a message for you.

"I urge you to listen to your heart. Things may feel a little difficult right now,  but somewhere out there, luck and opportunity is waiting for you. I believe that," he said.

BTS has long joined UNICEF for their advocacy to put an end to violence towards children.

Their campaign "Love Myself" raised 2.6 billion KRW as of November 2019.
