'Demon Slayer' voice actor Toshihiko Seki tests positive for COVID-19


Japanese voice actor Toshihiko Seki has tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In a statement, agency 81 Produce said the 58-year-old's condition is stable, but that he was hospitalized on Tuesday.

According to Anime News Network, Saki developed a fever on July 31, so he went to the hospital and got tested for COVID-19. His test came back positive on Monday.

The agency said that they have yet to trace where he contracted the virus.

Seku voices Muzan Kibutsuji in hit anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba." He was also the voice actor for Iruka Umino in "Naruto," Genjo Sanzo in "Saiyuki," Duo Maxwell in "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing," and Rau Le Creuset in "Mobile Suit Gundam Seed," among many others.
