AFTER 'DDU-DU DDU-DU'

BLACKPINK's 'Kill This Love' MV reaches more than 950 million views

BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" music video just went over 950 million views on YouTube, becoming the K-pop band's second video to reach such feat.

Released on April 4, 2019, the music video of "Kill This Love" now has over 950,325,418 views and 14 million likes as of writing.

"Kill This Love" follows "DDU-DU DDU-DU," which is BLACKPINK's first foray into the 950M mark. But according to Soompi, it didn't stop there. "DDU-DU DDU-DU" in June reached 1.2 billion views.

Soompi added that the only other Korean artists to reach the 950-million mark to date are PSY ("Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman") and BTS ("DNA"). All of them have also  surpassed the billion-view milestone.

In June, BLACKPINK released a new single called "How You Like That," which broke multiple Guinness World Records.

The "How You Like That" music video reached 86.3 million views within just the first day of its release.
