In a statement, the 22-year-old said that is on her first trimester.
"We really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter. We couldn't wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives," she wrote.
Bindi is the daughter of late Australian conservationist and "Crocodile Hunter" host Steve Irwin.
She and her brother Robert had followed their father's footsteps and became wildlife warriors themselves, starring in their own shows since their father's death.
Steve, who was watched by audiences around the world in his popular television programs, died in 2006 after a stingray’s serrated barb pierced his heart while filming off Australia’s northern Great Barrier Reef.
