Chelsea Peretti denies saying Duterte is one of the best politicians she has met

American actress Chelsea Peretti has denied saying that President Rodrigo Duterte is one of the best politicians she has met.

The “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” actress replied to a tweet on Friday showing her photo in a Facebook screen shot with the words, “President Duterte is one of the best politicians that I have met. Filipinos are very lucky to have them as their leader.”

“Obviously not a true quote,” she said.

The screen shot also wrongly referred to her as Sen. Gina Linetti of the Republic of Italy.

Gina Linetti is the name of the actress’ character on the police comedy show “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.” – RC, GMA News
