Trailer for ‘The 355,’ a women-led spy film, is out

Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for “The 355,” a spy film led by a powerhouse female cast: Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o, Diane Kruger, Fan Bingbing and Penelope Cruz.

The actresses play spies from different countries—the United States, United Kingdom, Colombia, Germany and China—who must work together to stop a global crisis.

According to a report by Variety, the group was code-named “355” after the first woman spy in the American Revolution.

The film’s Twitter account also shared group and individual posters of the lead characters on Tuesday.

The action-packed film, which also stars Sebastian Stan and Edgar Ramírez, will be released in theaters Jan. 15, 2021. – RC, GMA News
