Khloe Kardashian reveals she had COVID-19 earlier this year

Khloe Kardashian has revealed that she tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) earlier this year.

A promo for the next episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" showed a recorded video of Khloe talking about her symptoms.

She said she suffered from "the craziest headache," coughing, and sore throat.

"I'm going to be fine, but it was really bad for a couple of days," she said.

"Let me tell you that shit is real. But, we're all gonna get through this," she added.

The clip also showed commentaries from her sister Kim Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner.

“We’re just anxiously waiting for the results for Khloe if she has it or not. I mean my gut tells me she does just because she's so sick and that really scares me for her, 'cause I can tell that she's now getting scared and she's nervous about it," Kim said.

Kris said she "jumped on the phone with every doctor" who would take her call.

Khloe's plight was revealed amid the latest controversy surrounding the Kardashian clan, who all went to Tahiti for Kim Kardashian's 40th birthday celebration.

40 and feeling so humbled and blessed. There is not a single day that I take for granted, especially during these times when we are all reminded of the things that truly matter. For my birthday this year, I couldn’t think of a better way to spend it than with some of the people who have helped shaped me into the woman I am today. Before COVID, I don’t think any of us truly appreciated what a simple luxury it was to be able to travel and be together with family and friends in a safe environment. After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time. We danced, rode bikes, swam near whales, kayaked, watched a movie on the beach and so much more. I realize that for most people, this is something that is so far out of reach right now, so in moments like these, I am humbly reminded of how privileged my life is. #thisis40
