BTS recreates ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ set for ‘Dynamite’ performance

BTS has recreated the set of “The Late Late Show with James Corden” for their latest guesting on the American talk show.

Since the COVID-19 situation wouldn’t allow them to physically fly to the US, the South Korean group got creative with their performance of their hit single “Dynamite” on the show on Wednesday.

Picking up from their “Life Goes On” performance yesterday, the group turned up in an airplane setup then straight to a stage that looked exactly like the set of James’ late night talk show.

Host James Corden and show producer Ben Winston showed their appreciation for the group’s efforts.

“This performance from BTS tonight genuinely made me a bit emotional,” tweeted James.

“The effort they put into it, the vision to recreate our set. Extraordinary. It made all of us so proud,” he added.

James and the BTS performance became a trending Twitter topic after the video was released Wednesday afternoon.

As of this writing, there are over 118,000 tweets on James.

Following the announcement of their Grammy nomination earlier, BTS talked about their latest achievement in an online interview with James.

BTS was nominated at the Grammys for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their record-breaking hit single “Dynamite.”

A first for a K-Pop act, the Grammy nomination was a huge step for them, said the group, and it made them glad thinking how their fans must be happy.

RM said the group felt that their hard work paid off, and that to win the award would be amazing and the “greatest honor we can ever have.”

“What else can we say? Call us and we’re ready for the stage,” he added.

Aside from their nomination, the group also talked about their latest album, “BE.”

They also mentioned Suga, saying he was happy to hear about the Grammy news. The BTS member is taking a break after undergoing a shoulder surgery.

At the latter part of the video, BTS thanked their fans, the ARMY, for their support. – Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/RC, GMA News
