Patrick Dempsey confirms he’ll be returning for ‘Enchanted 2’ with Amy Adams

Patrick Dempsey has confirmed that he’ll be returning alongside Amy Adams for the much-awaited “Enchanted” sequel titled “Disenchanted.” 

“I just got this script for the second movie, and then I’m starting to go through and get notes together,” Patrick, who will be reprising his role as Robert, said on the US show “Good Morning America.”

The “Grey’s Anatomy” actor also added that he’s “excited” to star alongside Amy and revisit the enchanting world again.

According to Patrick, the Disney+ film could start filming “in the spring.”

“Enchanted,” released in 2007, is a mix of both animation and live-action. It follows a woman named Giselle (Amy) who lived in an animated fairy tale world and dreamt of finding her happily ever after with Prince Charming. However, she is transported to modern-day New York City where she meets Robert (Patrick), a single dad and divorce lawyer.

Aside from Amy and Patrick, the film also featured James Marsden, Susan Sarandon, and Idina Menzel.

The film, set to stream exclusively on Disney+, is yet to announce its premiere date. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
