Rosé recalls the first time she met the Blackpink members

Rosé went down memory lane and recalled the first time she met the Blackpink members.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the South Korean idol remembered how her first encounters with Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo went.

As the “newbie,” she felt “intimidated” upon seeing a bunch of girls waiting in a room. Nevertheless, the three girls made her feel safe.

According to her, Jennie taught her the choreography of a dance they had to learn and they got along well since she also spoke English.

Rosé added that Jennie taught her Korea’s “this and that” which she found useful since she was new to the country.

Lisa, meanwhile, is one she resonated with well since she’s from Thailand and they are both working away from home.

As for Jisoo, Rosé saw her as the “cool kid.” “She had that snapback [cap], big black T-shirt on.”

“Now I know she [is] like the goofiest person ever and of course, she’s so cool,” she said.

Rosé recently released her first solo album “R,” which features the song “On The Ground.”

She is the first female K-pop solo artist to land on United Kingdom’s official singles chart.

On Tuesday, she also became the highest ranking female K-pop solo artist on Billboard Hot 100.
