Red Velvet's Joy will be having a solo debut this May

Joy of K-pop group Red Velvet will be having her solo debut at the end of this month.

Citing Star News, Soompi reported on Joy's solo debut at the end of May.

Soompi said that a source from SM Entertainment clarified to Newsen, “Joy is preparing to release a remake album. We will announce the detailed plans soon.”

This will be Joy's solo debut after seven years of her debut in the group in 2014.

Joy is the second Red Velvet member to release a solo album, after Wendy released her first solo mini album "Like Water" in April.
