SM Entertainment takes legal action over rumors against EXO’s Chanyeol — report

SM Entertainment has reportedly taken legal action against netizens who have been spreading false rumors about EXO’s Chanyeol.

As reported by Soompi on Monday, a statement from the agency said it “has sued those who spread false rumors about Chanyeol.”

SM also said that the police have “identified those who were accused and forwarded them to the prosecution with a recommendation for indictment.”

Rumors about Chanyeol began to spread online after a person claiming to be his ex-girlfriend accused him of cheating on her while they were in a relationship.

According to Soompi, the K-pop star had earlier addressed the rumors in a letter to his fans, where he apologized for causing them concern.
