Liam Payne confirms split with fiancée Maya Henry

Liam Payne has called it quits with his fiancée Maya Henry.

The English singer confirmed the split on Monday's episode of Steven Barlett's "The Diary of a CEO Podcast."

When asked if he's single, Liam said, "I am indeed," and said that he is "disappointed in myself that I keep on hurting people."

"That annoys me. I've just not been very good at relationships," he said. "I'm just not very good at them so I just need to work on myself before I put myself on to somebody else."

"I just wasn't giving a very good version of me anymore, that I didn't appreciate," he added.

According to Liam, he now feels "better" out of the relationship and that the decision "had to happen" since it was the "best for both of us."

The former One Direction member confirmed his engagement with the model in August last year.

In 2017, he welcomed his son Bear Grey with singer Cheryl Cole. However, they broke up in July 2018.
