TREASURE member Doyoung tests positive for COVID-19

TREASURE member Doyoung has tested positive for COVID-19.

The K-Pop group’s agency YG Entertainment issued a statement on Tuesday afternoon as reported by Soompi.

“On July 12, in an examination through a COVID-19 self-test kit ahead of an advertisement shoot, Doyoung received a positive result for the first time,” it read.

With this, “all TREASURE members and surrounding staff cancelled all scheduled activities immediately and received PCR tests, and Doyoung ultimately tested positive.”

The agency said all other TREASURE and staff members tested negative, but everyone is planning to go on self-quarantine.

As of writing, Doyoung is the top trending topic on local Twitter with over 207,000 tweets from fans who are wishing for the idol’s fast recovery.
