Bob Odenkirk is 'going to be okay,' son Nate tweets after actor's collapse on set

Bob Odenkirk is "going to be okay," according to his son Nate.

The younger Odenkirk issued the update on Twitter after his father reportedly collapsed on the set of "Better Call Saul" and was taken to a Los Angeles-area hospital.

"He's going to be okay," read Nate's Thursday morning tweet, which has already generated over 28,000 retweets and more than 257,000 likes as of writing.

Citing TMZ, Reuters reported that "it was unclear whether Odenkirk, 51, was conscious when he was transported."

"As of 7:30 p.m.US time, TMZ said, the actor was still in a hospital under the care of doctors," Reuters reported on Wednesday.

"Better Call Saul," currently in production for its sixth season, is a prequel to the hit AMC crime series "Breaking Bad," which introduced Odenkirk as Saul Goodman, the sharp-witted criminal defense lawyer for the show's protagonist, played by Bryan Cranston. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
