'Sex Education' Season 3: Meet Mimi Keene, the gorgeous actress playing Otis' new flame

(Warning: Spoilers ahead)

“Sex Education” just dropped its latest season on Netflix last night and classes have officially begun.

If you’ve started binge-watching, you’ll be aware of how things have been heating up between Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield) and Ruby Matthews (Mimi Keene).

We all know Ruby is the fabulous and most popular girl in school, who unexpectedly grew fond of Otis after he helped her get out of a sticky situation in Season 2.

But who exactly is this gorgeous actress behind the Queen Bee of Moordale High’s “Untouchables”?

Pop culture enthusiasts might recognize Mimi Keene as the stunner who played the younger version of Edith Tolkien in “Tolkien.” She also appeared in the British soap “EastEnders” between 2013 to 2015, and the military drama “Our Girl.”

In a roundtable interview for “Sex Education” Season 3, we learned that Mimi is actually good friends with most of her cast-mates, including Butterfield, with whom she had a lot of steamy sex scenes in Season 3.

She admits to feeling a whole lot of nerves the first time she and Butterfield got it on, but with a help of an "intimacy coordinator, Mimi said "we became very good at it."

"We’re like professionals by the end," Mimi said.

On Instagram, where she has 1.3 million followers as of writing, you’ll find that Mimi is totally into animals. She has pics of her adorable cats and dogs, as well as fun snapshots with Butterfield (Otis), Ncuti Gatwa (Eric Effiong) and Chaneil Kular (Anwar).

Sex Education” is about an awkward teenager named Otis (Asa Butterfield) who has a sex therapist mother.

He and his friend, Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey), open up a so-called clinic at school to provide his classmates some much-needed love advice.
