YG Entertainment denies rumors linking Blackpink's Jisoo with Korean soccer star Son Heung Min

YG Entertainment on Sunday denied rumors that Blackpink member Jisoo is dating Korean soccer star Son Heung Min.

According to a report on Soompi, YG Entertainment released a formal statement in response to the rumors linking the two personalities romantically.

"We are definitively stating that all the dating rumors related to Blackpink's Jisoo are not true," YG Entertainment wrote in the statement.

"As the rumors have even spread internationally, we have become concerned that the artist may suffer damages due to the situation, so we would like to clarify the misinformation," they added. "We implore you to please refrain from groundless speculation."

Rumors began spreading in September 2019 after Jisoo watched one of Heung Min's soccer games in England with some saying they wore matching bracelets, the Soompi report said.

Additionally, the report said rumors on the two of them dating resurfaced after the two flew to France on the same day.

As of this writing, "Apologize to Jisoo" is trending on Twitter with over 56,000 tweets.
