‘Cheese in the Trap’ actor Seo Kang Joon to enlist in the military this November

“Cheese in the Trap” actor Seo Kang Joon is set to enlist in the military this month.

The Korean star's agency Man of Creation confirmed that Kang Joon will enlist this November 23 to carry out his mandatory service, Soompi reported on Monday.

The agency said there would be “no official event” for Kang Joon, and that his enlistment location will not be revealed “for safety and to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”

“Please show support so Seo Kang Joon can carry out his mandatory service in good health,” read the statement published by Soompi.

Kang Joon has starred in dramas such as “Cheese in the Trap,” “Are You Human” and “To the Beautiful You.”

The actor has reportedly finished filming a new drama “Grid” and  film “Happy New Year,” both of which are set to be released in 2022. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
