Blackpink's 'How You Like That' becomes fastest K-pop girl group music video to reach 1 billion views
Blackpink isn't done breaking records!
"How You Like That" track became the fastest K-pop girl group music video to reach one billion views on Youtube, Soompi reports on Friday.
Released on June 26, 2020, the music video received more than one billion views by Friday morning, November 12, taking the world renowned girl group just one year, four months, 16 days to hit the one billion-mark.
The record is just another feather to Blackpink's cap. The South Korean girl group held the previous record for fastest K-pop girl group music video to reach the milestone with their "DDU-DU DDU-DU" track, which took one year, four months, and 27 days to reach one billion views.
"How You Like That," with more than 1,000,077,500 views as of writing, is Blackpink's fifth music video to surpass one billion views, following "DDU-DU DDU-DU," "Kill This Love," "BOOMBAYAH," and "As If It's Your Last."
Known to be one of the biggest artists in the world, BLACKPINK, composed of Rosé, Lisa, Jennie and Jisoo, also broke the record last September and became the top most subscribed artist on Youtube. — Kaela Malig/LA, GMA News
