Bloomberg this week released its annual list of the top 50 people and ideas that have "defined global business" and guess what? Dong Hyuk and Si Hyuk were among those "whose accomplishments deserve recognition."

Listed under the entertainment sector is Dong Hyuk, who skyrocketed to fame after helming the record-breaking hit series "Squid Game." According to Bloomberg, more than 140 million people have watched the show, making it the most popular TV program in Netflix’s history.

Internal estimates viewed by Bloomberg News also showed that the series is expected to generate almost $900 million for Netflix.

Also under the entertainment sector is the HYBE founder Si Hyuk, applauded for being the "hitmaker behind BTS," who engineered a $1 billion deal in April to combine Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande's agency Ithaca Holdings with his Korean empire.

According to Bloomberg, it brought "K-pop to the center of the U.S. music business."

Aside from these two, other individuals included in the list are Olivia Rodrigo,  Britney Spears, Roblox CEO David Baszucki, and the meme stock. — LA, GMA News
