Jimin of BTS makes SoundCloud history for most streamed song as single 'Promise' reaches 300 million streams

BTS' Jimin just made SoundCloud history!

In a tweet on Tuesday, SoundCloud announced that Jimin's self-composed single "Promise" has become the most-streamed song on the platform with 300 million streams.

The music streaming platform wrote, "With an incredible 300M streams, ‘Promise’ by Jimin is now the most streamed song on SoundCloud. Congratulations!!!!”

Jimin, one of the seven members of the global phenomenon BTS, co-composed the music and lyrics of "Promise" and released it on SoundCloud on December 31, 2018.

As of writing, the song now has 300 million streams and 1.56 million likes. — LA, GMA News
