Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Rihanna among Most Powerful Women, according to Forbes


Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Rihanna were among the fierce females who cracked Forbes’ 2021 list of 100 Most Powerful Women.

Rihanna landed at No. 68, while Beyoncé, and Taylor were ranked No. 76 and No. 78, respectively.

In addition to the success of her beauty brand Fenty Cosmetics and lingerie line Savage x Fenty, Rihanna also joined the billionaire’s club and was recently named a national hero of Barbados this year.

Forbes cited Taylor’s big move to release re-records of her older music in order to regain their ownership rights. "Red (Taylor's Version)" eventually became her 10th album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

The 31-year-old singer-songwriter was also the youngest person on the 2021 list, followed by Rihanna at 33 years old.

Meanwhile, Beyonce’s achievements mentioned bin the report include the success of her “On The Run II” stadium tour with husband Jay-Z, her “Homecoming” live album, and her new partnership with Adidas for the relaunch of her activewear line Ivy Park.

The annual list was topped by American novelist and philanthropist MacKenzie Scott, followed by Kamala Harris who is the first woman, the first Black person, and the first South Asian-American to become US Vice President. — LA, GMA News
