Lupita Nyong'o tests positive for COVID-19

Lupita Nyong'o has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Oscar-winning actress shared the news on Twitter, saying that she was fully vaccinated and "taking care in isolation."

I too have tested positive for COVID-19. I'm fully vaccinated and taking care in isolation, so I trust I will be well. Please do all you can to keep yourself and others protected from serious illness. #StayMaskedAndVaxxed

According to Variety, Lupita was supposed to join her "The 355" co-stars for a round of promotions.

"The 355," a thriller set to premiere on Friday, stars Jessica Chastain, Penelope Cruz, Diane Kruger, Fan Bingbing, and Sebasitan Stan.

Lupita is known for starring in "12 Years a Slave" (2013) and "Black Panther" (2018), among others. —JCB, GMA News
