Robert Pattinson reportedly in talks to do film with ‘Parasite’ director Bong Joon-ho
Is Robert Pattinson teaming up with “Parasite” director Bong Joon-ho?
According to Deadline, Bong is in talks to write and direct an untitled film based on the sci-fi thriller novel “Mickey7” by Edward Ashton and “The Batman” star is in talks to headline it.
The book, set to be published in the first quarter of 2022, is said to follow “a disposable employee on a human expedition sent to colonize the ice world Niflheim.”
Bong Joon-ho is the acclaimed South Korean director behind “Parasite,” which became the first non-English language film to win the Academy Award for Best Picture at the Academy Awards
The black comedy thriller film that zooms in on tbe concept of social class discrimination also won Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best International Feature Film.
Bong’s other acclaimed films include “Okja,” “Snowpiercer,” and “Memories of Murder.” — LA, GMA News
