Filipina-Argentinian Chantal Videla is introduced as part of K-Pop group Lapillus


Chantal Videla has officially been introduced as part of the K-Pop girl group Lapillus.

On Twitter, MLD Entertainment and Lapillus released the Filipino-Argentinian’s poster with her nickname “Chanty” and her birthday. 

As of this writing, the announcement has attracted over 50,000 likes and a thousand comments from fans all over the world, including the Philippines.

Along with Chantal, Lapillus will be composed of Shana, Haeun, Seowoon, Yue, and Bessie.

The group will debut on June 20.

According to a Soompi report, they are MLD Entertainment’s first new girl group since debuting MOMOLAND nearly six years ago.

Chantal has been participating in various activities prior her debut as a K-Pop idol. Recently, she did a cover of Jodi Benson’s “Part of Your World.” 

She also starred on JT&Marcus’ digital single “Dear You,” showing both her singing and acting prowess.

Chantal was born to a Filipina mother and an Argentinian father. She was an actress in the Philippines. — LA, GMA News
