NIKI tests positive for COVID-19, keshi added to Head in the Clouds Festival lineup
NIKI has tested positive for COVID-19 and won’t be able to perform at this year’s Head in the Clouds Festival in California on August 20 and 21.
On Twitter, the singer said she was "so heartbroken."
“[I’m] SO very sorry to disappoint, those who know me know [I] cannot STAND not following through with a commitment [and I] was truly looking forward to putting on the best show for you all this year. [B]ut alas, life is unpredictable,” she tweeted.
The “Every Summertime” singer assured fans they will still have the best time at the festival, and that she will continue to work hard on her fall tour set to make up for this.
And in what she calls “a very exciting silver lining,” NIKI added, “my dear friend [k]eshi has decided to save the day and join the [lineup]!!! [P]lease go and shower him with the warmest welcome.”
In a tweet, record label 88rising said that NIKI “is resting and on her way to recovery.”
