Fans promise to wait for BTS after news of group's military enlistment


BTS fans took to Twitter to express their love for the global sensations after news of their mandatory military service.

As of writing, the hashtag #ForeverWithBTS is the top trending topic in the Philippines with over 203, 000 tweets from fans saying they will stay until the members return.

"No matter what, no matter how long. Every step of the way, ARMY will be here for BTS," one wrote.

"We will always be with you and we will always wait for you 'til you [come] back [in] 2025. We love you and trust you. We purple you," said another.

Meanwhile, some have been sharing snippets and quotes from BTS that say they will continue being a group to assure some broken-hearted fans.

On Monday, Big Hit Music announced that the seven-member group would soon fulfill their mandatory military service beginning with Jin.

Also composed of RM, Jungkook, Suga, Jimin, V, and J-Hope, the group held the "BTS Yet to Come in Busan" concert on Saturday. It promoted the South Korean city's bid for World Expo 2030.
