Sophia Bush of 'One Tree Hill' shares how she knew her husband was The One
Sophia Bush Hughes of "One Tree Hill" recently did an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Instagram Stories and answered one of her fans' pressing questions: How did Sophia know that her husband the entrepreneur and investor Grant Hughes, was The One.
The two met some 10 years ago in Nicaragua. While they initially remained just friends, they soon started getting on Facetime, especially during the pandemic, which then led to dating.
While Sophia said that she can't possibly put it into words in one Instagram story, she wrote, "He's all of the things I knew I wanted and needed, and all of the things I didn't even know to ask for because I'd never experienced them before."
She added, "Wait for your person. You are worth it. They are worth it. And when they show up? Do all of the work on yourself, support their work on themselves, and share the work of your commitment. Because it's magic."
Sophia and Grant finally got engaged in August 2021 and tied the knot a year later in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the USA, in part, to shine the light on the philanthropy, civil rights justice, and cultural renaissance there. The couple share the same passion for social causes and volunteering for charities.
In Sophia's other Instagram Stories during the AMA, she said, "I'm choosing to be gentle with myself," going outside more and reading more books for fun, which she said was "all lovely" and "necessary."
According to her AMA, Sophia also adopted two puppies, is currently obsessed with the song, "Flowers" by Miley Cyrus, and is starting to meet with her team for season 3 of her "Work in Progress" podcast.
She also has the "Drama Queens OTH ('One Tree Hill')" podcast with her past co-stars, Hilarie Burton and Bethany Joy Lenz. — LA, GMA Integrated News
