'Ant-Man' star Evangeline Lilly gets roasted by her son: 'How come you have to be the worst Avenger?'

Kids sometimes say mean things to their parents, and even Avengers like Evangeline Lilly are no exception.

On "Unang Balita," Lyn Ching interviewed the stars of "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," including Evangeline, who shared what her son thought of her character, the Wasp.

"He used to say to me, 'Mom, how come you have to be the worst Avenger? Why couldn't you be Iron Man?'" Evangeline said.

"But then this one, this is interesting, he had a different take on it. He said to me, 'Mom, I think it's time for you to get your own movie,'" she added.

Lyn then asked Evangeline which female Avengers she would want to do a movie with if she gets the chance.

"I think Captain Marvel comes immediately to mind. Brie Larson is a friend of mine. We really get along and we sort of—I think we think of our characters through similar processes," Evangeline said.

But she couldn't just leave it at just one female Avenger.

"Can I bring more than just one? Can Mantis [of the "Guardians of the Galaxy"] come and play?" Evangeline asked. "Can I bring the Scarlet Witch? I really love Elizabeth Olsen as well."

"There's just too many great women to choose from so let's just do the A team. Let's do all of them," she said.

Lyn also interviewed the Ant-Man himself, Paul Rudd, who spoke about his kids and his family life.

"Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" opens in the Philippines on February 15.
