Fernando Carrillo on Rosalinda co-star 'Thalia': 'She's a queen'

Fernando Carrillo remains in awe of his "Rosalinda" leading lady Thalia.

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the 57-year-old Venezuelan actor heaped praises for the Mexican actress who was known for starring in "Marimar," "Maria Mercedes," and "Maria la del Barrio."

"I haven't seen Thalia in a while because she's based in New York with her beautiful family, with her husband and kids," Fernando said. "But whenever I need her for something, she's a queen."

"I really respect her, the way she handles her career, the way she handles her family, it's really amazing," he added.

Fernando played the role of Fernando Jose in "Rosalinda," which first aired in 1999.

He and Thalia had insane chemistry in the series, which was also released in the Philippines with Tagalog dubbing.

Both of them rose to popularity in the country and visited Manila a few times to meet their fans.
