Ahyeon returns to Babymonster
Babymonster’s Ahyeon is returning to the group!
YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk has revealed through a “surprise announcement video” on Thursday midnight that Ahyeon would be rejoining the rookie girl group Babymonster due to improvements in her health, Soompi reports.
Ahyeon had to sit out Babymonter's debut song "Batter Up" due to “health issues.”
The girl group went ahead and released "Batter Up” on YouTube in November, featuring six of its seven members: Haram, Rora, Chiquita, Pharita, Ruka, and Asa.
Now that Ahyeon is better, YG said she will take part in the Babymonster's upcoming mini album, the group's comeback, which will be released in April.
Ahyeon will also be part of the group’s forthcoming pre-release single “Stuck In the Middle,” which will drop on February 1.
Meanwhile, Babymonster will re-record new versions of "Batter Up" to include Ahyeon.
Following the news, YG released the teaser for “Stuck in the Middle” which has garnered over 280,000 views on YouTube.
