Taylor Swift defends Lady Gaga against pregnancy rumors, body shamers
Lady Gaga took to social media to slam the pregnancy rumors surrounding her name online.
On TikTok, the “Bad Romance” hitmaker shared a video of herself with a text that read, “Not pregnant.”
In the comments section, Taylor came to Gaga’s defense, saying that the singer doesn’t owe anyone an explanation on her body.
“Can we all agree that it's invasive [and] irresponsible to comment on a woman’s body,” Taylor commented.
“Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation [and] neither does any woman,” she added.
Lady Gaga also gave a nod to Taylor’s song “Down Bad” in her 10-second TikTok post when she used the lyrics “just down bad cryin’ at the gym” in the caption.
Gaga and Taylor, arguably two of the biggest names in the music industry, have shown their support for each other on social media.
Last year, Gaga lauded Taylor for being brave in opening up about her eating disorder.
Last month, Gaga released her concert film dubbed “The Chromatica Ball” on HBO Go.
Meanwhile, Taylor released her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” in April.
