SZA made sure to give Kendrick Lamar a shoutout following her guest appearance at the rapper's Superbowl Halftime Show.
The singer performed her collaboration songs with Kendrick, “Luther” and “All the Stars,” around halfway through the 13-minute set.
Posting photos from the performance, rehearsal, and more behind-the-scenes moments, SZA wrote on Instagram, “THANK YOU [Kendrick] for consistently putting the world on your back. At all times."
“Thank you for lifting me up. Thank you for encouraging me and being so willing to bend to whatever I may need,” she added. “You’re a prophet. But you knew that. I wasn’t nervous today. I was ready to rep for u. For US."
SZA also thanked her and Kendrick’s team, God, and the National Football League (NFL) for the opportunity.
“#SUPERBOWL2025 wrapped,” SZA said to end her post.
Kendrick’s epic halftime show happened on Monday, Philippine time. He performed his top hits, such as “Humble,” “Squabble Up,” and “Not Like Us.”
His set featured more guest appearances. Frequent collaborator and music producer Mustard danced with Kendrick. Tennis legend Serena Williams also danced during the show. Kendrick mentioned her in his Drake diss track “Not Like Us,” telling him to “better not speak on Serena.”
