Oscars 2025: Adrien Brody and Halle Berry reunite with a kiss after 22 years

When Adrien Brody won his first Best Actor Oscar 22 years ago, he surprised presenter Halle Berry with a kiss on the lips, right on stage, before giving his speech as the youngest Oscar winner at 29.

Twenty-two years later, the actors reunited on the red carpet, with Halle Berry giving Adrien Brody a kiss on the lips.

The cute reunion was caught on camera by the Academy, which posted the clip on X. "A reunion 22 years in the making," it simply said.

In the video, Halle could be seen apologizing to Adrien's date, reportedly Georgina Chapman, before going in for the kiss. 

A few hours later, Adrien would win his second Best Actor Oscar for his work on "The Brutalist."
