'High School Musical' crossover: Olivia Rodrigo, Vanessa Hudgens pose at Oscars 2025 afterparty

At the Oscars 2025 afterparty, hosted by Vanity Fair, Olivia Rodrigo and Vanessa Hudgens were spotted together at the photo wall, catching up briefly before posing for photos.

Both Filipino-Americans, Vanessa played the role of Gabriella Montez in the original "High School Musical" film, while Olivia played the same role in "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series."

In 2023, Vanessa was named the Global Tourism Ambassador for the Philippines.

Meanwhile, Olivia visited the Philippines for the first time in 2024 for her sold-out GUTS World Tour at the Philippine Arena. She told Jimmy Fallon that the Filipinos in the crowd were "such good singers."
