Lily Collins embraces new life as girl mom on International Women's Day

Lily Collins is celebrating International Women's Day in a new light.

On Instagram, the "Emily in Paris" star shared a snap of her with her newborn daughter and an old photo of her as a child. In the caption, Lily reflected on her years as a child and her new life as a mom.

"As a new girl mom, International Women's Day hits a little different this year. Thinking about little Lil a lot lately and all the generations of women who came before me — and especially this precious new generation that I now have the honor of bringing up in this world," Lily wrote.

"Grateful to be a woman and for all the women who got us here," she added.

Lily welcomed her daughter Tove Jane McDowell with husband Charlie McDowell via surrogacy in February.

Lily and Charlie confirmed their relationship in 2019, then got engaged in 2020. The couple got married in 2021.

"Emily in Paris" is returning for Season 5. The fourth season of the comedy-drama series premiered in 2024.
